Purpose
Term: Annual
Role Summary:
This role ascertains that Acolytes are available for Sunday Worship services and other services as needed and requested.
Responsibilities:
1. Recruits children from congregation to serve as Acolytes for worship.
2. Provides list of names of children willing to serve as acolytes to Church Secretary, who develops the schedule.
3. Trains individuals to perform the role of Acolyte.
4. Obtains acolytes for other worship services as needed.
5. Verifies scheduled Acolyte is present each Sunday and identifies a substitute as needed.
6. Ascertains candle holders are ready for use by Acolytes.
