GSUMC – Role Description

We are called to love, worship, and serve as we seek to make disciples of Jesus Christ.

 

Role:                   District Board of Mission Representative

 

Ministry Area:     Mission, Service & Witness


Purpose

 

Term:                 3 years.


Role Summary:

Attends the meetings of the Board of Missions, which oversees the Richmond District’s mission projects, such as UM Urban Ministries of Richmond.


Responsibilities:

     1.  Works with the District Board as needed.


Skills:

     1.  Good listening skills.

     2.  Organizational skills.

     3.  Good interpersonal skills.

     4.  Multi-media communications skills.
