Ministry Area: Hospitality
Purpose:
Term: Annual, may be renewed.
Role Summary:
Coordinate activities & information with and about church members who are unable to regularly attend worship services and activities for college students. This would include regular contact with college students, especially at the beginning of the school year. Groups within the church (e.g., Sunday School classes, UMW, Youth) could be encouraged to send letters and care packages to students throughout the school year.
Responsibilities:
1. Encouragement of, and coordination with, groups within the church to reach out to college students.
Skills:
1. Ability to motivate groups within the church to reach out to college students.
2. Good listening skills.
3. Organizational skills.
4. Good interpersonal skills.
5. Good communications skills.
